What Makes A Great Story?

There are probably as many ideas about what makes a great story as there are stories told.

In fact, telling someone how to create a great story is a story itself

Since I don’t post here on Saturday and Sunday, I thought I’d give you two very different videos to watch, both of which are stories about storytelling.

The first is Simon Sinek telling the story of how great leaders inspire action.

If you can consider the writer of a story a “leader”—one who Inspires others—you’ll learn a lot about why the formula, What>How>Why needs to be reversed—Why>How>What.

The second video is Andrew Stanton, of Toy Story fame, giving his clues to a great story.

Enjoy :-)
